Derek curated the short films for the inaugural Anaheim Int'l Film Festival in the fall of 2010 sponsored by Disneyland and the Garden Walk. The shorts program lineup was so stellar that our two jury award-winning short films went on to win Oscars® five months later in 2011: "The God of Love" won Best Live-Action Short Film and "The Lost Thing" won Best Animated Short film. Derek also voluntarily produced this festival trailer video animated by Raymond Cinemato with music composed by the band Panda Transport
