ACTRESS/DANCER/SINGER/VIOLINIST/STUNT WOMAN
After studying at the London Studio Centre and performing on stages in the United Kingdom and Germany, Oddrun Valestrand made a dazzling worldwide debut as Norway’s official representative in the 2000 Eurovision competition with her aptly-named girl band Charmed. Oddrun’s multi-hyphenate skills as an actor, model, dancer, singer, and violinist…has caught our attention at Extra-stellar (and we are happy to break the Norwegian "Law of Jante" and boast about her.)
She has continued to perform in concerts as a singer and violinist and acted on stage in Norwegian productions of Fame, Saturday Night Fever, Kiss Me Kate, and most recently she played the role of “Lill-Signe” in the theater production of “Super.” A consistent and dependable actress, Oddrun has appeared in the films Mortal, Re:Human, The Psychics; and in the Norwegian tv series Klassen, Mortal, Furia, The Psychics, and Side om side.
Oddrun brought an emotional complexity to her leading role in the recent comedy short film Camping in Paradise (directed by Oscar®-nominated Eirik Tveiten) which is currently taking America by storm while screening in top festivals like Tribeca and Palm Springs and winning both the Jury Prize and Audience Award at Annapolis.
